Booking policy

Booking Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings and services provided by Corked Campers (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking an appointment with us, you (“the customer”) agree to the following:

Bookings & Appointments

  • At present, appointments are available one Saturday per month only. 

  • Each appointment lasts approximately 8 hours. We offer up to five appointments per day, starting from 8:00 am and aim to be finished by 6:00 pm.

  • All bookings must be made online via our website.

  • Customers must arrive at our premises in Halifax at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment.

  • Vehicles arriving late may not be accepted, and deposits will be forfeited.

  • Vehicles must be roadworthy (with valid MOT if driven) or transported on a trailer. We are not responsible for transport issues.

Payments

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid on arrival, by cash or bank transfer.

  • Services will not commence until full payment has been received.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • Customers may reschedule their appointment up to 7 days before the booking date, subject to availability.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of the appointment, or non-attendance, will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Services We Provide

  • We provide both interior spray cork insulation and exterior spray cork insulation, in a range of colours chosen by the customer.

  • The interior ceiling will be sprayed; the exterior roof of any campervan will not be sprayed.

  • Spray cork insulation is:

    • Thermal and lightweight

    • Resistant to mould and condensation

    • Flexible and durable

    • Made from natural cork materials
       

  • Suitable vehicle types include:

    • Small vans (e.g. VW Caddy)

    • Medium vans (e.g. Ford Transit)

    • Large vans (e.g. Mercedes Sprinter)

    • 4x4s (e.g. Land Rover Defender

Service Limitations & Disclaimer

  • We aim to achieve full and even coverage, but due to the nature of spray application it may not be possible to reach every tight gap or corner. Customers will still benefit fully from the insulation.

  • Vehicles must be free from dirt, oil, loose materials, and personal belongings. Failure to prepare the vehicle may result in refusal of service and forfeiture of the deposit.

  • We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage, rust, or defects in the vehicle

  • Overspray or minor cosmetic imperfections inherent to the spray process

  • Damage caused by subsequent modifications, cleaning products, impacts, or weathering beyond normal use

Liability

  • Customers leave vehicles and belongings at their own risk. We do not accept liability for loss or damage to personal items left inside.

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the cost of the service provided.

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the service.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform our services due to events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to equipment failure, illness, transport disruption, or extreme weather). In such cases, we will reschedule the appointment at no extra cost.

Photography & Marketing

Unless we are notified in writing before the appointment, you consent to us taking and using photographs of your vehicle for marketing and promotional purposes.

General

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time, with the latest version published on our website.

  • By booking, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
