Booking policy

Booking Terms & Conditions

These Booking Terms & Conditions (“Booking Policy”) govern all bookings made with Corked Campers (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By booking an appointment and paying a deposit, you (“the client”) agree to this Booking Policy and our separate Client Disclaimer & Agreement (linked below).

Bookings & Appointments

  • At present, appointments are available one Saturday per month only. 

  • Each appointment lasts approximately 8 hours. We offer up to five appointments per day, starting from 8:00 am and aim to be finished by 6:00 pm.

  • All bookings must be made online via our website.

  • Customers must arrive at our premises in Halifax at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment.

  • Vehicles arriving late may not be accepted, and deposits will be forfeited.

  • Vehicles must be roadworthy (with valid MOT if driven) or transported on a trailer. We are not responsible for transport issues.

Payments

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • The remaining balance is payable on arrival, via bank transfer or cash.

  • Services will not commence until full payment has been received.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • All deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • Appointments may be rescheduled up to 7 days before the booking date, subject to availability.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of the appointment, or non-attendance, will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Services We Provide

  • We provide interior and exterior spray cork insulation, in colours selected by the client.

  • Interior ceilings are included; exterior roofs are not sprayed.

  • Spray cork insulation is:

    • Thermal and lightweight

    • Resistant to mould and condensation

    • Flexible and durable

    • Made from natural cork materials
       

  • Suitable vehicle types include:

    • Small vans (e.g. VW Caddy)

    • Medium vans (e.g. Ford Transit)

    • Large vans (e.g. Mercedes Sprinter)

    • 4x4 vehicles (e.g. Land Rover Defender)

External Spray Applications – Preparation & Weather

For any booking involving external spray cork application:
 

  • The vehicle must be washed less than one hour before arrival. (Nearby car washes are available and can be used immediately prior to your booking)

  • External spraying is weather dependent. While we do have indoor spray capability, extreme weather conditions (including high winds or heavy rain) may require the appointment to be postponed to ensure safety and finish quality.
     

Where postponement is necessary, we will always aim to reschedule at the earliest suitable opportunity.

Service Limitations & Disclaimer

Spray cork application is subject to inherent limitations relating to vehicle design, access, and drying conditions. Clients must read and agree to our full Client Disclaimer & Agreement, which covers:
 

  • Coverage limitations

  • Drying times and aftercare

  • Use of cork as a visible finish

  • Liability relating to interference or early handling

Photography & Marketing

Unless we are notified in writing before the appointment, clients consent to Corked Campers taking and using photographs and video of their vehicle for marketing and promotional purposes.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) equipment failure, illness, transport disruption, or extreme weather.

In such cases, appointments will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

General

  • This Booking Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time, with the latest version published on our website.

  • By booking and paying a deposit, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to this Booking Policy and the Client Disclaimer & Agreement.
